On Saturday, Feb. 7th, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) held his 7th Annual Unsung Heroes Awards program, honoring 16 residents for their positive contributions to Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District. During the program, three of our Association members were recognized.
Edward Patton was awarded the Pillar of Power award. This award goes to individuals who have served in a seat of government, faith-based institutions, or corporate entities. A person that has utilized their authority for the betterment of others.
Lawrence Sharp (not pictured) was awarded the Community Cornerstone award. This award goes to Individuals who have served the district for 5 years or more, making a direct positive contribution in the lives of constituents.
