Why Use A REALTOR®?
Whether it's your first home or your tenth home, buying a property is a huge deal and major investment. That's why you shouldn't just trust anyone to get the job done. The REALTOR® designation means that real estate professional has gone through extra levels of professional development, and adhere to a strict code of ethics. REALTORS® are able to provide the best possible service in the industry.
NAR's Code of Ethics, adopted in 1913, was one of the first codifications of ethical duties adopted by any business group. The Code ensures that consumers are served by requiring REALTORS® to cooperate with each other in furthering clients' best interests
NAR’s professional standards policies include a defined process of checks and balances to protect members and evaluate potential Code violations. This presentation describes the process.
